Match Report:

In their third game of the season Purton played their first home game and were looking to get their first win. Purton started very quickly and scored their first goal through George Ffoulkes before the spectators had even taken their places. Purton were 3-0 up inside 10 minutes with further goals from Jamie Baker and Josh Harper. Purton created more chances but could only add one more goal from Kieran O'Driscoll before half time.

In the second half Purton continued to keep possession and create chances but could only score one more goal from George Ffoulkes. Final score 5-0.

Coaches comments :

"Good to get our first win and score a few goals. Even better was to keep a clean sheet which is good for the lads confidence. I thought that we were excellent at the back today. The win came at the right time which will be a good pick up and push us up the league. We started very quickly, but perhaps took our foot of the pedal in the second half, but they kept their concentration and did not let the game slip."
