Match Report:

It was a cold and wet day, Purton Under 11's faced an away game against Blunsdon Colts. Purton started brightly, looking very solid in defence, creating a few chances. Ryan Norman went closest with a long shot, which proved to be Purton's best chance in the first half. Half time 0-0.

The second half continued on from where the first half finished. Purton soaking up the pressure and attacking on the break. As the game wore on,the pitch became much heavier and more difficult to play on. The young lads legs of both teams were becoming tired, and a draw was a fair result. Final score 0-0.

Purton Man of The Match:

 Dale Crabbe
 Jamie Griffin
 Josh Harper
 Kieran O'Driscoll

Coaches comments :

"The lads defended well today, it was a difficult pitch to play on, a typical example of an english winter pitch, but all of the lads dug in and played well. Unfortunatley we could not score, but it was good to keep a clean sheet."
