So who is the guy who runs around, barking
instructions, thinking he knows the game of football. We sent our
reporter, Ed Itor, to find out who is ’Gary Norman’
Name: Gary Norman
Date of Birth: 19th November 1966
Age: 21, of course

How long coaching? This is my second season.
Began coaching last season when Purton required two coaches, Malcolm

Likes: Children enjoying their football, 100%
effort.
Dislikes: Ability wasted because of attitude.
‘Win at all costs’ attitude.
Ambitions: To be the best coach that I can be. To fulfil the playing potential of each of the players, that I
coach. To stay with this squad through the ages until they play
adult football (although I suspect that the lads will get rid of me
before then). |

For a bit of fun and teambuilding, I thought it
would be a good idea to get together on another day other than
training or match day.
Everybody seems to like a quiz, so how about a
quiz night based on football.
We could have teams made up of the players against each other,
teams of families or teams of players against their parents. |
Perhaps even against another football club. What
do you think ?
For those of you interested, could you let me
know A.S.A.P, and your suggestions or preferences for the quiz
structure.
If there are enough people interested, I suggest
that we have the quiz at the Angel Inn pub in Purton on Friday, 25th
October between 7 PM and 9 PM.
|
The evening will be purely for fun and also an opportunity for the parents
to get to know each other better.
