Each news letter edition will include the previous month’s results, the following month’s fixtures and up to date league tables.

We shall also be featuring coaching hints and tips. As well as information regarding all football matters, we will have a wanted and for sale notice board.

In this first edition we will be previewing the new season for the Under 11’s, and introducing you to two new teams. Also we feature news of “Code of Conduct” and F.A Soccer Start Challenge.

So remember, this newsletter is for you, so all your feedback and opinions are welcome, perhaps even a new name for your new newsletter.

New Under 8’s and Under 7’s Teams

Malcolm Corcoran, former joint manager of the Under 10’s team for the 2001/2002 season, has started two new teams for Purton.

The first few training sessions have been well attended by plenty of new enthusiastic players and the future looks very exciting.

The Under 8’s will play 7-a-side in the Swindon and District friendly league, and the Under 7’s will play 7-a- side friendly’s against other local teams.

Watch this space for future developments, who knows, perhaps a future Premiership player is in our midst.
