Purton Football Club - Under 10's

Introduction

Welcome to the new season, hopefully it will be as successful as the last.

This year there will be two teams, named Colts and Cubs respectively. There will be no "A or B Team" and both will be playing in the Swindon and District League. All the boys will be signed on to play for both teams, with the aim to amalgamate next season and form the Purton U11, 11-a-side team.

This years managers will be Malcolm Corcoran, Norman Jones, Gary Norman and Shay Thornton. We intend to pass boys through both teams to ensure all get to play a good standard of football and hopefully become better players. Hence, we will try our hardest to ensure there are no fixture clashes between the two teams and keep you informed of any changes.

Training will be on Tuesday nights indoors at Hreod Parkway school, 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM. To ensure all the boys benefit can you please let us know if you're going to have difficulties getting your son there. We can always arrange to get them picked up or dropped off, if the need arises.

In the meantime, may we thank you in anticipation for supporting your son's development in football and we look forward to seeing him play for Purton FC this season and beyond.
