Match Report :

Purton Colts continued their recent good run with their biggest win of the season so far. The first few minutes were very tight and suggested a low scoring game as Purton were forced to battle for every ball. After 10 minutes, against the run of play, Purton scored the first goal when Dale Crabbe turned and shot from 15 yards out into the keepers bottom right hand corner 1 - 0. Purton continued to battle for the rest of the half with few chances being created. Shortly before half time Dale Crabbe and Kieran O'Driscoll scored with a half volley each to leave the half time score 3 - 0.

Purton started the second half in total control and quickly increased the lead when Giorgio Wrona shot from the left wing, 4 - 0. After a couple of good blocks from Henry Borrill in the Purton goal, Giorgio Wrona scored his second of the day with a goal very similar to his first to increase the lead to 5 - 0.

With 10 minutes remaining, Kieran O'Driscoll scored his second with a right foot shot from six yards, 6 - 0. A couple of minutes later Stratton scored a consolation goal with a penalty which crossed into the goal of the crossbar. In the dying seconds, Dale Crabbe completed his hat trick with a right foot shot after some good wing play and cross by Giorgio Wrona. Final score 7 - 1 to Purton
